Temporary in cab fuel pressure gauge. And a volt meter attached to the output of the inertia switch. When It starts sputtering and dying again I'll have the answer to why. BUT I came across another problem. Today when I was testing the ground at the fuel rail I was getting unusual readings. So I flipped it on 200 ohms and sure enough like 170 ohms between the negative post and just about anything on the motor. Yikes I have a ground issue too, time to put a few extras on. So I can't use the pressure sending unit till it is grounded. Darn. I wonder if the "cutting out" was related to that. All this work for experience, the motor is coming out and a 5.0 is going in. But I want to sell the 3.0 to someone, it generally runs great and has less than 140K. No mechanical problems at all.
