I'm miserable and currently suffering from what I originally thought was a cold but turned out to be allergys. I work outside and many of my co workers have children so I cant follow the easy home remedies like staying indoors. Every time I suffer from either of these, I start googling for instant relief with no luck. I eventually read one or more articles that call these "minor inconveniences" and I get pissed.
I know bleach will cure AIDS, cancer,
and the common cold but it will also kill you. Lol. I know it's more profitable to treat the symptoms than a actual cure but if they cant find a cure for the common cold, why do we hold out hope that they will find a cure for things that are really inconvenient, like cancer.
If you offered me a instant cure for the common cold and said, " that will be $200 " I'd say " here you go!!! " it just drives me crazy that there is no monetary motivation to cure colds because they consider these minor inconveniences. Sure, you can gamble with their guess on flu shots but they've guess wrong the last couple years and the friends and family that did get the shot almost always got sick right after. So that's not a solution yet for me.
Allergy medicine is better than cold medicine but why does it take 4 fing days for it to start to work? I cant even sleep through the misery cause I cant breathe and if I start to doze off I'm quickly woke back up by my nose running....
I get just as upset when I have a huge mosquito bite that Itches so bad i scratch a huge hole in my skin. They know the entire science involved with mosquito saliva yet they cant make a topical creme that nuetralizes the saliva and gives relief....
I'd love to lock all these medical scientists in a little glass box filled with pollen and hungry female mosquitoes loaded with every version of the rhinovirus and see how inconvenienienced they feel.
Please put me out of my misery!! I dont get these very often but when I do, I'd rather be in a medically induced coma till I felt better than to suffer these minor inconveniences.
