Here's my OHC, it was installed as one of my first Mods. I used the OHC to mount my Remote Face for my Amateur Radio and where the display was, is a switch panel, four micro switches with mini LED Indicator Lights and two switch near the interior light, they operate the Map Lights so it doesn't come on with the door or the light switch. The Radio Face/Head needed a mounting panel against the Map Lights and a filler panel toward the rear of the console. The Light Switch Panel had to be fitted for the space and around the Map Lights. I ran a home made wiring harness from the OHC to the rear of the Cab then down the Driver's Side Corner. The harness consisted of a main power wire, a main ground wire, four accessories switched power feeds, and the Kenwood Remote Face/Head Harness. I f I ever take the Head Liner down to insulate the Roof I will tie-wrap the harness to the cross bracing. The Hole for the release of the Eye Glass Compartment, is covered now by a Ford Sticker, didn't know what to do with it ! ![]()
