Problem I foresee is that when people mount spotties behind there, you have a "pencil beam" of light which is a very sharp projection of light and works exceptionally well from behind the grill because the Grill no longer differentiates the light pattern so close to the lense. Flood or combo lights will get deviated from that actual function and there is some small risk with blocking off or disturbing the airflow to the radiator that is another concern.

Most light bars mostly offer a combo of focused spot beam in the middle and then as you come out to the edges develop or migrate into a flood beam of light pattern. Also most of the cheaper lights don't really offer a way to differentiate from this either by design or often offer anything to be able to even change out the lenses to change these attributes by accessories.

On top of the fact that most people unaware that the type of light and its placement is most often why lights seem to not be the best or useful for the need.

Kaylee, what do you use your truck most for out there in Flo-Rida? More open areas or deep trails? Both??
