Good to hear you are starting your project... "Baby Boy" ! Remember the Explorer Rear Axle is a little wider (more stability) and comes with large Axle Tubes, 31 spline axles, and sometime Posi and disc brakes, be selective. It requires a little rework but you end up with an OEM Axle that works... a little better. Good Luck on the build.
