Just a note to say that you can add me to the list of folks who like the KYB Excel G shocks! I put a set (front and rear) on my 98 4X4 and the ride is amazing. It took the bounce out and the truck seems to handle and drive better, as well. I use my truck as our towed vehicle behind our motorhome, and it doubles as our mobile store room. I guess there is 500 to 600 lbs. in the bed at any given time. All of the input on this forum was very helpful in choosing these new shocks. Thanks to everyone!
