That oil should have NO DETERGENTS in it for the break in period on a new block
With a fresh engine I change the dino oil at 500 miles then switch to regular (not synthetic) oil for the next 1000 miles change again, and run conventional (non synth) for the first 3000-5000 miles
the more you change the oil and filter now, the longer your new engine will last.
CHECK with your engine builder and see what they recommend

make sure you take some pictures!!
