100% agree, if you can wait a week to do the project, rock auto is the way to go. Their parts + shipping are almost always cheaper, PLUS if you sign up for their emails, they send out 5% off codes all the time. or any forum they are sponsors on will have them as well. It basically pays for shipping. The trick is, to order as many things as you can at once. If you do one here, one there, the shipping will kill you, but if you can order a bunch, especially if it all comes from the same warehouse, then you're golden. I only buy stuff from the local parts store as well if I need it TODAY, OR if its something I will need to swap out at some point. like all my brakes are auto zone duralast whatever the best version is. Why? they are cheap AND I swap them for free when I need to.
