Gotta love a new exhaust that works out! I have the blue 2006 Ranger here at the property. This is the sohc 4.0, 5 speed, edge with 360K on it that we recently put an engine in...then fuel pump, then front differential and some U joints. Well she is back, there is a popping in high range 4x4 at higher speeds on hard pack snow/slush It is not CV axles or front cardigan driveshaft... Its appears the T case (not original) is worn out and the chain is skipping under load.... More on this later, first things first The truck is at the gate (2 miles from shop) and we have about 12" of snow/slush. The ranger tires are about 30% all season radials.... I have to get it back to the house/shop! Should be interesting.....the things we do for our loyal customers!!!!
