That is a good question My first answer is no it should not matter, also Brett is VERY good at these things and I told him your truck is ranger lets check ..........Okay but the 42 pin connector does not change on these trucks, meaning they are pretty much universal the circuits stay on the same pins Your truck was 2000 3.0L 4x4 automatic, it should have this wire Do you have a red/white wire on pin 33 of your 42 pin connector under the hood?
