Disconnect battery. Wait 5 minutes. On the right and left of the steering wheel there are plastic cover disks about 1" in diameter. Remove them carefully with a very small screwdriver, they just pop out. This reveals 2 screws, forgot the socket size but it is metric. With the 2 screws removed you can pull the airbag forward just enough to get to the connector. The connector is easy to remove, then you can see the rest. Did you just get pods or pods and wiring or? Getting the connectors out of the old pods can be a pain, I usually pry the covers off first. HINT: If the covers are already torn to pieces you can push the 2 black tabs enough to get the board out without breaking the tabs! HOWEVER breaking the tabs is kinda normal, there is no way to get the boards out without breaking them if there is a cover on. The new board and the new cover should go right on securely and stay anyway. Buggman has a tutorial on his youtube channel.
