Dorman shift motors SUCK
I would rather rebuild a stock unit
Now with that said
If your t case is in 2wd and the new shift motor is in N or something, plug the shift motor into the truck and turn the dash switch to 2wd, does the shift motor move?
The shift motor should "shift" even when detached from the truck
Much Faster than lifting all 4 wheels off the ground..lol
