Anyway long story short, yes, I thought I covered it in this forum but maybe Im wrong, I dont know.
No 4WD, lights flashing on dash 4 high and low, ever since buying it.
Ill have to look back on my notes, its been a while since I messed with it, I did something......anyway the 4WD started working intermittently, everyone ( I understand they wer only trying to help ) on Rangeer station eventually told me to replace the shift motor, I ordered one a month ago, got sidetracked and put it in this A.M.
No changes, at first no 4WD, nothing.....cant hear the solenoid clicking behind the dash, nothing, then all of a sudden this afternoon ( just like before ) it started working, turn the switch on dash, I hear the clicking behind the dash and it goes into 4WD.
Cant say that it would work if I went out there right now to try it.......OK wait, Ill go out and try just for the heck of it.
Works fine again I guess, it wont go into 4 low while in park sitting there, it will only go into 4 low if I shift it to that outta neutral.
Im guessing it wont work at all in the A.M, I dont know.
I still havent transferred the brown wire yet, maybe that will matter for something, I know its obviosuly not gonna shift on the fly now ( I couldnt possibly care any less about that feature anyway.
I want it fixed, maybe you or someone here can help, like Ive said before, i dont want to just throw parts at it but maybe Ill have no choice.
