This is gonna be an Fn hassle, not to sound negative but chances are this shift motor isnt gonna just bolt in and all my problems with getting the 4WD to work in this 98 ranger isnt gonna happen. Can someone please tell me the correct procedure to get under there with the vice grips and spin the pawl so I can get this truck into 4 low and then back to 2 high. I did it one morning at 4 am and it was a huge hassle cause I didnt know what I was doing, maybe its gotta be in one particular gear to get that stub/pawl whatever you want to call it to move kinda easy? Im also worried that my vice grips are gonna chew the deal up and then Ill be really up the creek. Thanks for any help with this. Last edited on Fri Nov 23rd, 2018 03:33 am by 1930 |
