I bought a camper to set on my property that I am clearing, Im needing this 4wd to work to get this camper thru all the sugar sand. I see that the 8th wire ( the brown one that goes over the the transfer case is just an empty hole on the plug of this new shift motor? I found this info https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/index.php?threads/shift-motor-replacement-removing-replacing-the-brown-wire.344577/ so it clear for me now assuming this info is correct. It mentions here that I may not even need to transfer the wire if I dont plan to shift into 4 high ( which I dont this weekend ) so maybe I can deal with this another weekend? Maybe I can put this new motor on and be good to go as far as getting it in 4 low. Do other adjustments have to be made but if they do where can I find that procedure?
