I have done the show and shine thing for years...I washed my BII so much when I was younger.... I am pretty sure that's why I have rust in some of the spots I do, too much power washing!
My buddy has a 1984 Porsche convertible in black, we have been building for some years. He drives it everyday. You want to talk about an expensive paint job? Try 25K!!!
Still it gets chipped, scratched, swirls, etc...nothing that can be done if you want to drive it 3x a week...I keep telling him Monstaliner the Porsche! LOL
My wife came from the muscle car background too and her mother (my mom in law) has owned and operated a detail shop for 30+ years.....so we know how to show and shine Im always learning great ways to revive and care for paint
I noticed you have a heavy duty looking surface coating on the bronco II or is that pitted rust painted over? It looks rugged, what is it?
