Smart I have done the show and shine thing for years...I washed my BII so much when I was younger.... I am pretty sure that's why I have rust in some of the spots I do, too much power washing! My buddy has a 1984 Porsche convertible in black, we have been building for some years. He drives it everyday. You want to talk about an expensive paint job? Try 25K!!! Still it gets chipped, scratched, swirls, etc...nothing that can be done if you want to drive it 3x a week...I keep telling him Monstaliner the Porsche! LOL My wife came from the muscle car background too and her mother (my mom in law) has owned and operated a detail shop for 30+ years.....so we know how to show and shine Im always learning great ways to revive and care for paint Last edited on Wed Nov 21st, 2018 10:25 am by 410customs ____________________ I build custom RBV, specializing in drivetrain conversions, wiring, suspension and complete custom trucks |
