Went to the salvage yard this weekend and came away with some goodies. The Ranger they just got in wasn't touched aside from the D/S window being busted out, (I am assuming because they accidentally locked the key in it when putting it in the yard as the key was in the ignition
) so I had first dibs on everything.Both seat belts
Jack, tools and cover (my truck had non of this)
Rubber mat (good bye stinky carpet)
kick panels (swapped them out for the previous ones, better condition)
The black trim that holds in the carpet/mat
and the seat belt switch/ashtray pieces (I just have a hole next to the switch
)I spent way too much time there so I didn't get a chance to install the rear bumper and hitch as I planned. I had to leave to go buy the correct size "torx" bit for the seat belts. No fun having to leave and come back because you don't have the correct tools. Plus, this is my first non VW vehicle so I'm still leaning what tools I need for what and I didn't realize it was a different size from the ones holding the seats in
. So I'll get to the bumper another time. Also got my package from Buggman this weekend so I'll probably be tackling the cluster on Thursday
