We left off where I get to pick up the truck. I'm super excited, it's been a long time coming and my expectations are a bright and shiny truck with a super clean interior.

NOPE, NOT EVEN CLOSE.
We will start with the interior. It WAS professionally detailed the week it was dropped off to the paint shop. It looked brand new inside.

They didnt bag the seats, or cover the dash, or put paper floor coverings... instead they removed the front windshield and just sanded away. I was replacing the front windshield because it looked sandblasted. Later in they will use the fact that my interior was detailed as an excuse to why their paint job was so bad.

Lots of dust on everything.
Ok now let's look at the outside where the majority of work is.

Nice wash job!!! You think a detailer at a paint shop would know to wash from the top down.... this is the roof of the cab as delivered after $10k...

Now for things I thought should be included.

And the things they forgot that are included

And now for 2 of the major defects in workmanship that they wont fix and tried to blame me for but I'll get in to that a little further
This is on the driver door by the lock where they chipped the fresh paint. The owner looked me up and down and saw I had a zipper on my sweatshirt and said it was probably my zipper. Lol.

This might be hard to see. Its below the back window on the passenger side. I call this one the Australian defect. No offense to Australia. If you look directly in the middle you'll see a lighter color defect that to me looks like the continent of Australia. Lol

So next up in the thread transfer I'll be trying to convince myself I'm too picky, they arent finished, I'm over reacting, etc... all just to keep from returning the truck "discount tire style"

Stay tuned more to come...
