I didn't think I would need it. I pulled (with a fork lift) the shell with the trans in it next door, he has a car squisher. The project was originally a 2WD and I bought a 2WD transmission for it.

The motor and 2WD trans is actually in the 2WD truck but I love this 4WD short bed I bought so much I want to make it the V8.

Might just get a trans but it has to be from a 96 or early 97 to match the 97 ECU and all the connections. The trans that came off the thing is probably a good choice.
AND that transfer case will fit right on, all I need will be driveshafts. AND some luck.
