I like to name things as well, for some reason. Never figured out why.

My '99 is named 'Gold Dust'. Fairly obvious why. I tend to like more aggressive sounding names, but there are exceptions.

I named my HD AR-15, a Windham Weaponry AR15A4, "Wendy". Wendy, short for Windham. I named my M1 Garand "Christine", not only because it's a name used popularly around the time period it was made (44), but because it reminds me of that one classic red car that could fix itself, which had the same name. Stephen King.

My other 20" AR15 got named "Project Vietnam" less to give it a name in the first place, but so I could call the project something and still have people know what I was talking about before it was complete. I haven't managed to come up with a name for any of my other guns that have 'stuck'. More often than not I say "The Beretta" or "My 1911", because as of right now I only have one Beretta and only one 1911. No need to make a distinction. That'll change later, of course....
