After watching the video I thought the trucks look cooler than the one they usedin the original press release but not as cool as the Australian ones. To me it looks like a mini F150. More like the size of the Colorado's than the previous rangers. I like the fully boxed frame and steel bumpers but I wish they had more choices for drivetrain. I know the EcoBoost has more horsepower and torque than the current SOHC V6 and are probably comparable to the 5.0L V8. Just seems like Ford misses the mark when it comes to what we want. Most of the other light duty or mid sized trucks had a V8 option during some part of their production. The SVT lightning ranget never saw production due to vehicle safety and cafe standards. Meaning they couldnt get the mpg and meet safety standards with a V8. So now all of us are doing to our rangers what the factory wouldnt.
