If you think that's impressive, wait for 2021. This version is to be replaced by a completely different version then, and a 2.7 is likely in the works, maybe even a few more choices.
I have a neighbor that has property up here, he was here a couple weeks ago deer hunting. He was a test engineer on the F150 and Mustangs, and is now doing the same on the new Ranger.
Consider this, the new Bronco, 2020, is being built at the same plant in Wayne, Mi. It makes sense then, the 2021 Ranger would basically be a pickup version. Sort of the reverse of Ranger, then the BII like we saw last century.
I had also read somewhere, that a 7 speed manual may be offered in the Bronco, so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. Myself, I'll stick with the 10 speed auto, even if the manual is offered.
I was disappointed with the 2019, only one engine choice, and the packaging isn't to my liking. I'm looking forward to the '21.

I think I posted the article on here somewhere, but they have said that a 7 speed transmission may be in the works.  Ford is working with Gertrag on it.

Now how about those stories about a V8 4 door Mustang?
