![]() My truck was painted a fresh coat of vista blue bumper to bumper last summer. Afterwards I had to put all my money towards the house because my carpenter friend is moving to eastern washington. Now that that is done I had to get a sealant on my new paint. I gave it a bath before it went to the auto salon. ![]() This is the after shot. I tried to get a picture at the same light and location to show any difference but It rained all week and on the day the sun came back i had to work. My truck was already really shiny so you all probably wont be able to see any difference. ![]() Here's what they did at the auto salon. Washed and dried the entire exterior including wheels. Then they used nanoskin auto scrub system to remove bonded contaminants. It's a modern version of a clay bar. Then Menzerna polymer sealant is hand applied. Then they cleaned the windows inside and out, dressed the wheels n tires, and cleaned and polished the exhaust tip. I started to use TC black fusion on my black moldings and plastics on the exterior but got rained out after I barely got finished with the front bumper. I'll take a before and after of my rear window to show you guys how awesome this stuff is once I can get time and it's not raining. I did a test patch on the front bumper after I got it back from the paint shop last summer and it stayed black and shiny even after a lot of car washes Last edited on Sun Oct 28th, 2018 10:12 pm by Eddie Money ____________________ I know my crazy!
