I'm not sure what you mean in your last paragraph, you say that it never really engaged ?
Did you read the post above my last one where I had it up on jack stands all four wheels the evening before and then this morning it was definitely engaged suddenly by itself even though it wouldn't engage on the stands?
I was driving it in 4 wheel drive low this A.M.
I just want to be sure that you maybe didn't miss one of my posts and maybe some Clues
