I live in southern Indiana near the Kentucky border and I scrap year-round whenever it happens to be full. I find my prices are very consistent. Doesn't seem to change with the season or otherwise. The price for aluminum has only changed once for me. It went from $0.32/lbs to $0.45/lbs and has stayed there. Brass went down by two cents once but I don't know where it is now.
