FROM EXPERIENCE... Here are the 2 coils: ![]() ![]() The snap tang is on the outside on the vertical, the snap tang is on the top on the horizontal. This puts ign/start/run on the same side of either plug. CD3 (I'm guessing capacitive discharge) is in the same spot on both plugs. CD1 and CD2 are inverted. There are only 3 coils in this pack so they fire once on the exhaust stroke also. CD3 is actually for hole 2 and 6 which can be inverted and run fine. Any wire on the left can be exchanged to the right and run identical. If you have one pack and it is working (vert or horiz) you can exchange 3 and 4 wires with 1 and 5 and run the other pack. It will screw with the diagrams you might have saved but will work trust me it is running. The only thing I don't know yet is does CD1 run holes 1 and 5 or 3 and 4. I know CD3 is for 2 and 6. So there you have it. Not night and day but there is a difference and they can be exchanged if you don't mind moving 4 wires :)
