VelociRanger wrote:It looks good! How do you like the tires? Are they good in wet weather, dry, light snow/ice (I live in Texas so I won't see much snow but ice is a definite) and wear? I was asking because I'm gonna lift my 2wd with a simple MaxTrac 4" lift kit and wanted 33s and I couldn't find a good picture to help me visualize the fender spacing and such. I'm thinking in the front I may need 2" lift coils as well now. Good pictures, super helpful, clean truck. Thank you sir. Thanks ! I really like the BFG Tires, I have used the BFG Name Tires for a long time and it was easy for me to decide to use their Mud and AT Tires/ The AT Tires wear like steel, they should last you quite a while under normal driving, the ATs work well on wet roads and snow but that clog up easy and need a little more pedal to clear the tread. Light snow and ice, both type of road conditions are bad and I do not know any tire that would be any "GOOD" in either but maybe there is a version of tire with studs in them, that would be good for that type of driving. All around... the BFG ATs are by far the best tires I have owned and I would replace these with another set without thinking. As they get older, and on a truck that had the power, (Mine was an '88 Ranger with ;93 Mustang 5.0L, Automatic, Smoke Shows are a great thing... these tires smoke um up REALLY nice ! As for the Lift, I do not know too much about the 2WD Lift Kits, I do remember the Truck before this one, a '95 Std Cab Short bed, 2WD, Lift Kits were far and few between. Sounds like your truck will be a good looking truck when done, remember to keep weight in the bed when driving on Ice and Snow ! Ltr
