The new one goes fine, but hammers into all gears, upshift and downshift though they seem to be happening at the proper rpm. First of all from what I can gather I have a 4R44E being a 2000 and a 3.0. I've read till I'm blue and it all seems to be pointing to a TCC solenoid that is sticky and makes the torque converter lock. Does anyone have experience with this 4R44E and can confirm I am in the right place? More of a nuisance than a problem but I would like to fix it so when I yank the engine and tranny I can sell them together as a good pair.
