just depends on what your willing to pay for in convenience features. You can find what we termed as Driveway Starters for $99-119 all day. BUT..... It doesn't flash lights, doesn't do door locks, doesn't have an alarm, it comes with one remote, 50 ft of range and runs for 20 mins and is usually susceptible to ALL FCC interference's. You start adding up relays/modules/KEY bypasses, and the labor costs for such items like door locks, light flash, ignition interrupts, 2 remotes, 1/4 mile range, trunk release (not in a truck application but you could do a tailgate lock actuator so the tailgate locks/unlocks with the doors), any additional AUX features you can imagine from rear defroster to headlight delays and it adds up quick. By the time all is said done, you can turn a $99 shopper into a $479 buyer real quick.
