That's something I have to try at least once. I'd really like to have a matching pair of something. I can hardly justify one Desert Eagle, let alone two. Maybe I'll grab a pair of stainless Remington 1911s to modify. Aluminum hogue grips, new stainless humped mainspring housing, maybe some black colorfill. Maybe toss in a few .45 1911 happy sticks, if I can ever find any. Can't seem to find more than 10 round capacity for them. Bummer. I did find a 15 round magazine, but it's from Promag.
