I'm looking into finally getting a good gunbelt. Any recommendations? Only requirements are that it be 1.5 inches wide, black, and for it not to look like I just pulled it off the shelf at a local store (IE, doesn't scream 'tactical'.)
So we won't find you in the "Tacti-cool" section at 5.11 is what your saying? lololol

Who and what if you're using any type of metal targets out there? What are you using? resetting type, a metal plate hanging, your old Lodge pans?

I've found a spot I seem to believe offers a premium spot to go shoot at in the desert as far as handguns would be concerned for some plinking and i'm thinking of buying an/some inexpensive target(s) and setting them up on the opposite side of the gully for the shear factor of hitting some real targets.

I dont care if other people even find them and use them so much so long as they STAY there or maybe someone catches on and maybe they add one. I cant say the area has never seen other shooters but the spot was pretty clean. WHAT I DONT want to create is a place for everyone to come and just leave all their shot up trash at and or even their brass/shells. I laid out a cloth tarp and caught every single casing on it. Picked it up with all the brass on it and left the area as I found it... Packed in/Packed out.

But I am hoping that at some point, some additional and responsible others would see some efforts being applied to make a safer but a decent target setup and not just ruin it. Of course I know that may be some weird fantasy but.. hey. If I stick a $20-30 Birchwood Casey metal target out there and it stays there for a few months without loss, I'd get another one or two out there too for some diversity in distances.

Something like these: BW Casey Double Mag .44 Action Spinner
