What is your budget? There are some cheap welding blankets, we use them at work to wrap exhaust housings in after weld so they cool down slowly.

We used to use Kevlar but that got expensive even for a business.

I'll price one tomorrow at work. Would help to remind me, I'm not retired but my brain has.
