I like a 4 to 5 lb pull on a pistol. For a rifle it should be in the 3-4 lb range. The engravings on dust covers or skulls on end caps are bling that is unnecessary. My 92AF INOX became a great shooter when I got the trigger smoothed with a 5 lb SA pull spring set and everything was polished. The DA pull is still in the 7 LB range. The firing drills I go through have trained me to be proficient with a lighter trigger. I also do the "Israeli Carry" where their is no cartridge in the chamber so I have to rack the slide. It was how I was trained with a M9. I had an assigned M9 when I was in the military Guard. I worked with the armorer to tweak my M9 to my INOX specs and I had the same weapon for 9 years until I retired. I had the same spring set and the internals that were polished the same way. I scored expert every time on the range with the M9.
