Outside of the obvious cleaning issues one would expect.. Whats everyone's thoughts on the "skeletal" look on slides and what not?![]() I am slightly drawn to the intricate details seen but at the same time there's the 2 mental notions I have. That in the event of an actual shooting on your behalf. Courts and Juries supposedly look at that as some sort of premeditation aspect because you happen to "modify or decorate" your firearm and allegedly leans towards intent or wilful actions. This obviously goes beyond the "Tacti-cool" thoughts as I am not looking for that label either. and.. A decreased reliability. At the same time, I would think slightly less material would also lighten the action, especially while round cycling, as well as overall weight characteristics for the daily carry. In my case, even under open carry you wouldn't see much of the slide because of nearly all of my carry options but.... Additionally, whats the consensus among the group here on iron sights, my other Glock doesn't have anything in the sense of a night-sight like a tritium based. It does have the stock glock sights style but as an upgraded set, and the red dot setup which does help instead realistically but not so much in the sense of "oh " - and then reaction scenarios. It's mostly for when practicing and the one time or two I've had to clear a house/building literally. It does help with quick targeting acquisition of closer/farther targets but in a robbery at a gas station or a bank it isn't gonna get used, there's no time to say "time out.., I need to turn on my red dot to return fire". lol ![]() Last edited on Mon Sep 17th, 2018 04:21 am by Undrstm8ed ____________________ "Be never first, never last and never noticed." - Unknown "The slave is held most securely when he is held by the chains of his own will and of his own fears, and when he is locked down by his own slavish desires for a comfortable life." - Michael Bunker "Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur" - ~ attributed to Petronius (Gaius Petronius Arbiter (ca. 27–66 AD)) Roman courtier during the reign of Nero.
