The 8.8 31 spline drum brake also came in the sport tracs 01-03 so that would make sense

If you guys want 31 splines and disc brakes it sure is easy enough to get, I sell ALOT of explorer rear axles, 3.73 and 4.10 open and limited slip...there are plenty of these out there to be had
