I looked at the coopers pretty hard, but my discount tire steered me towards the Pathfinder A/T's. I think I paid less than $550 for a set of 265's. I've got 10k+ on them and they look great. I drove them across country with no road noise issues. Living out here in VA i get some pretty torrential rains and also have no issues. I've only put them in the snow once or twice, but I never felt like I needed more tire. Obviously they are AT and as such, so I wouldn't go hard core off roading, but for my day to day use on my ranger, they've been great. I posted a thread elsewhere about buying them. https://www.ford-rangers.com/forum61/521.html
