Thanks,the only part I didn't soak in was the definition of "connection points" it doesn't seem obvious where that is.
Jim, I think what he means by the definition of "connection points" is where the gauge overlays are attached/glued to the gauge face. If you remove the gauge needles & then try to remove the gauge overlays you will see they are attached to the gauge faces in a few spots only, not to the whole gauge face.
