Most people don't do this well most men, but I have a tendency to attach a name to the vehicles I drive. I haven't done this forever I think it has been since the 3rd wife. Her 2017 CRV is Optimus (due to all the automated features). 1 previous civic was Elsa  from the frozen movie and I forgot what her first civic was but it had a name.

My 2000 2WD in the middle of a seemingly never ending V8 conversion is "Gherkin", my DD 2000 4WD picked up G2, The white 98 is simply Whitey and the recent red one I just sole was "Redrum"

Why?

Well it all started with my 02 dodge ram. I had my youngest son with me, he was about 5 or 6. There was a traffic jam in the parking lot of a dairy queen. I playfully said "I'm about ready to throw it in 4 wheel and go over the sidewalk" He said "you can't do that" I said "yes we can, we have a Big 'ol tough truck" in a southern accent.

Silence. He looks at me with a confused face and says "Pickle tough truck?"

So from then on the dodge was "Pickle Tough".

The first 2000 I dragged home for the V8 project was substantially smaller AND it was green. It became "Gherkin"

Since the next one I bought was similar to Gherkin, except 4WD and extended cab, it was simply Gherkin2 or G2 for short.

Whitey is self explanatory and I will be labeled a racist by the left.

"Redrum" was simply a slurred "Red one" though my wife named it Clifford.

Anyone else brave enough to post in this thread? LOL.
