Finally having pried the ailing 4.0 from my white truck I wanted to put it on my engine stand to rotate and pull it apart to see what happened to it.
Stand extensions were way too short because that flywheel sticks out so far.
Removing it is impossible since it has some sort of strange inverted torx head bolts.
It is a 98, does anyone know the exact size of that socket so I can buy just one and not a set?
External torx? is it actually 6 point? If so it's probably E12 size.
Have you tried seeing if a 12pt socket fits?
