Hey all, My name is Justin and I currently reside outside of Athens in southeast Ohio. I've owned Rangers on and off since I was out of high school, having fallen in love with Ford trucks at an early age.(especially the 73-79 F Series). I've owned a 92, a 94, and currently own a 99 that is in my shop while I rebuild the 8.8 rearend (see my thread in Drivetrain Tech). I'm 37, have been married for 12 years, and have an 11 year old daughter. Family life is very important to me, hobbies and work come second. (Well, hobbies are probably third or fourth, depending on what all needs fixed around the house). I've learned over the years that expanding your knowledge is dependent upon your willingness to tackle new and challenging problems with an open mind and attention to detail. I've always been obsessed with figuring out how mechanical things work, and figuring out how to keep them working. I've worked as an auto technician, fabricator, and am employed as a technician and CNC machinist/operator. I enjoy troubleshooting electronics, particularly 12vdc control systems. My hobbies primarily involve varying degrees of tinkering. I have a soft spot for vintage Cub Cadet tractors, and use my 1974 year-long for everything from plowing, cultivating, grading, mowing, and snow removal. I look forward to getting my Ranger back on the road. I've been driving my '87 Samurai in the meantime, and it really needs some engine work, so the Ranger has got to be my daily driver again soon. I've always loved that truck and plan to keep it around for quite some time. Thanks for taking the time to read my intro. Look forward to some good discussion.
