I have lots of Gen II explorer consoles After the center console 8mm bolts are out you have to pull it backwards towards the back seat, some of them are very stubborn but if you rock it side to side it comes loose every time The floor access plate is on all RBV 1984-2011 ON the v8 it gives you access to 3 02 sensor plugs, trans wiring, and t case bolts. The top bellhousing bolts we actually will cut the floor open towards the dash. Two quick cuts with sawzall and you can get the top BH bolts all 4 of them and the dipstick retainer. However that is usually only for trucks we are not after the engine, otherwise we pull trans and engine together
