Yes after tearing apart 100 explorers or so you learn some things
We remove hood, fenders, two bosy mounts and then cut the front sheetmetal off
Drop t case and x member pull whole drivetrain right out the front.

FYI a 4.0 and a 5.0 can be stabbed into the truck assembled to the trans, it just takes some fancy angles on the hoist to make it go in........
