is the slave cylinder leaking inside the trans bellhousing? There is no boot on the slave cylinder just a plastic throw out bearing That bleeder valve is not supposed to move that much, they can wiggle side to side a bit but 1/2" sounds excessive. FYI cheap slave cylinder have been known to fail within weeks here, not months not years but within weeks. USE OEM here is a pic of your slave cylinder for comparison ![]() Maybe time to drop trans and consider a new clutch!
