Problem is the little sticker on my battery that shows what size the overall battery is, is no longer there..lol
From research I have found that the Ranger takes a 58 and or 59 battery size.  The 59 is supposedly taller than the 58.  The rest of the dimensions are the same from width/length.  But wanted to ask what everyone is running.  Is there a pro or con to running one or the other?  IE:  IF I have a size 58, would going to a size 59 be better?

So realizing this issue is basically solved. I wanted to question the yr and engine size.

My 93 and 94 both have a group 65 battery which fills the tray on all sides and clears the hood and by group size is listed as a 65. I don't know what the specs to your battery is or even if a 65 fits your application but here is the low down on paper [monitor] for comparisons.

EXIDE EDGE FLAT-PLATE AGM - FP-AGM65

I've been quite impressed and happy with the Exide in both daily abuse and on the long and often very distant trail use where the key was left on from Midnight to 0900hrs 'ish most nights charging tablets, phones, flashlights, JBL flip2 speaker, playing a movie & music low all night with the tablet display (on low setting). Truck starts up like fresh battery every time...
