What's everyone's opinions on under glow lights and wheel well lights? I've been beating the idea around of doing this to my truck. I want to use white LEDs to be different. Every Tom Dick and Harry has red blue green amber but I've never seen white
Shy of "theme" lighting concepts.. Some people with intended thoughts may be after some things but my thoughts behind that is this.
Amber - damn good for high dust needs
Green - Even better for high dust or night time hunting, especially wild hog (apparently they cant see green).
Blue - Great those needing attention color #canyouseemenow #howaboutnow . Horrible for your eyes and vision.
Red - If its bright, see Blue. If its a duller or lower wattage I could see it as low level lighting with less chance of being noticed however. Much like a brake light on a hillside late at night; you can see it for a long ways away.
RGB - Those seriously intending to be attention whores all around, possibly rare color wants and needs but still.
White - Would serve one purpose I would want it to cater to and I've had that in mind because It's what I've had planned for both my truck and the offroad trailer. And it goes something along the lines of this. Added lighting in the front wheel wells, rear wheel wells and under the truck bed & trailer for the purpose of nightfall trail repairs, side of the road repairs, side of the road warning/emergency; [I am NOT but you could] add in a single red unit in each outer lower door to indicate open doors to traffic flow.
I have a rather unique approach to what i want for repair or low to ground level lighting around the campsite without bright as can be lights shining around effortlessly giving away position either. Just my spin on it.
