Tonight I made an interesting discovery that says a lot about the PPU M1 ammo. I've been messing about with my M1 and I noticed that it appeared that my adjustable gas plug was closed all the way. Sure enough, it is. Tried to blow through it, tried to get WD40 to go through it, nothing would go through it. I had to crank that sucker all the way down to full shut in order for my M1 to operate reliably with this ammunition. That speaks volumes to me about how this ammunition is charged. I swapped out for the original gas plug in light of this, and now I can use my bayonet and launcher without the hassle of swapping. Looks better, too.
