How is the radiator? How many miles on it? Single core? Is this truck a stick or auto? Maybe time for a water pump and or radiator. However please know that if the needle is still pointing at "normal" then it is in operating temp range and might be completely normal. A scanner to watch the actual engine coolant temp might be a good idea, you can use an app for your phone with a bluetooth dongle. This can tell you if it is 210 degrees, 220, 240, etc........
