I've had many setups on the ranger with the 5.0 . For me routing is easy since I no logger have the stock tank that almost ripped off a few times on speed bumps ,etc ( lowlife 🤦ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸Lol ) . When the tank was there . I have had stock manifolds and piping from the explorer modded to fit when first swapped . Then cut out the stock explorer back cats and muffler out and welded up stock 2010 mustang mufflers dumped . Those where heavy as and kept breaking rubber hangers . Finally bought a really nice “ big boar†dual in dual out 2.5 “ muffler with a built in x pipe . That exhaust setup was my favorite for sound til this day .I swapped and relocated the fuel cell to the back and got tri y headers and 2 40 series flows . decided to tru dual out the both sides in front of the back tires . The tire smoke gets pushed out the sides now because that 😠. That's my current setup . I plan on swapping out to a perforated design again and cutting the flows off.
