Oh hell no!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Car toys was in there trying to install something lucky it did not burn down!!

Finished 2006 Ranger engine replacement. 306K miles on factory engine before she went down, 306K on the factory fuel pump too! Truck has a newer M5OD and t case from the junk yard last year and had an Oreillys clutch in it installed last year (Powertorque slave cylinder)
The clutch slave was already starting to leak from the housing, the pilot bearing was dry and the trans was leaking badly from the torn shifter boot. So we rebuilt the shifter, installed all new Luk clutch and hydraulics. I learned how to bleed one of these clutch systems in about 5 minutes this time around. We removed the "bad" engine and installed engine from 2007 Ranger with 120K on it. Engine was fitted with many new parts, plenum gaskets etc. New pump and strainer installed........She runs perfectly now! Happy customer.

Today we vacuum and charge the AC, drain and fill the 5 speed and t case, service the rear diff (cover leaking) and send her home.
Nice one owner truck...see whats possible if you just change your oil?
FYI the 2006 engine may still be good!! The joker mechanic these people were using told them the engine was shot...so far I have only found a weak fuel pump and the #3 spark plug had never been changed, the other 5 had been changed at least once... I am looking forward to checking compression then tearing the sohc down with 306 on it should be interesting.........
